WHAT DOES THE BOARD DO?

The YFC Board holds ultimate responsibility, both legally and practically, for all aspects of the ministry. This includes oversight of the Executive Director, staff, assets, finances, and the overall outcomes of YFC, encompassing both successes and challenges. While day-to-day operations are delegated to the YFC staff, the board retains comprehensive accountability for the organization in its entirety.

What Is Expected?

We are dedicated to serving children, families, and communities with our utmost commitment—because they deserve nothing less. Above all, our dedication is also in service to the Lord Jesus, who deserves our very best. As board members, we hold our responsibilities with the utmost seriousness. Here’s a brief outline of what we expect from each board member: A deepening faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Alignment with the YFC Statement of Faith. Support of YFC through prayer and financial contributions, if feasible. Minimum attendance of 75% at monthly board meetings. Attendance at events whenever possible. In essence, we ask for your wholehearted dedication and effort in fulfilling these expectations. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve and honor our commitment to the Lord Jesus.
